192 Dodge Family Medicine Welcomes Dr. Precht

When Dr. Greg Precht was looking to move his Ashland practice to the Metro area, he considered Methodist to be his choice. Dr. Precht found a home with the family medicine clinic at 192 Dodge.

Dr. Precht, who hails from Millard, has been in family practice in the Ashland community the past four years as well as a primary emergency room call physician at Saunders Medical Center in Wahoo.

As a family medicine provider Dr. Precht welcomes the opportunity care for patients of all ages.

“Being able to see kids, parents, grandparents and getting to know the whole family – helps you treat them better,” he said. “You develop relationships with those family members and you develop trust. When that occurs, patients and their family members trust the recommendations you make about their care.”

He says patient care is more than just numbers and referencing a book.

“For me it’s about caring for the individual,” he said. “As a physician you treat the patient instead of the disease. You have to work to find the right treatment for that particular patient in their current situation."
