In a Thursday update from health officials around the state, Nebraska health officials and doctors said their greatest concern right now is hospital capacity.

Methodist infectious disease specialist Jessica Jones, MD, said this surge in hospitalizations looks familiar.

"I mean, last fall was miserable," she said. "This fall and winter, unfortunately, feels like a rerun."

Dr. Jones joined others on the call urging people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and to get booster shots.
