Assistant professor at Nebraska Methodist College featured in investigative piece on Omaha's lead issue

For years, a smelter, spread lead dust across a large portion of Omaha, and area children are still paying the price. Kiley Petersmith, an assistant professor and coordinator of public health policy at Nebraska Methodist College, was interviewed for an investigative story on Omaha's lead levels.

“I think we’re just going to have to rally together to do more to prevent it from getting from our environment into our kids,” said Petersmith about the issue.
