CNN International: Dr. Lovgren Speaks with CNN's Robyn Curnow

The story of Angel and Karla Perez has earned the attention of media around the country and world. Media outlets from coast to coast shared the arrival of Angel after the Methodist medical team kept his mom, Karla, on somatic support for 54 days.

The media also celebrated Angel's discharge from the Methodist Women's Hospital NICU on Tuesday, June 9, after two months of care from the NICU team.

CNN International reporter Robyn Curnow spoke live via Skype on Friday, June 12, with Dr. Todd Lovgren, maternal fetal medicine physician, and one of the more than 100 care providers who oversaw Karla's care during those 54 days.
