Daily Nonpareil: Greer Overcomes Accident, Enjoys Giving Back

A disabling accident didn’t stop Rick Greer from giving back.

Greer, 52, of Council Bluffs volunteers two or three days a week helping in the pharmacy annex at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. He sells over-the-counter medications to employees and volunteers, orders supplies and stocks shelves.

“It keeps me busy,” he said. “It’s helping out.”
