Dr. Kallie Schneider joins Methodist Physicians Clinic Internal Medicine team

Kallie Schneider, MD, has loved science and problem-solving since high school, so there was little doubt that she’d study medicine.

As an internal medicine physician at Methodist Physicians Clinic, Dr. Schneider enjoys the variety of patients she sees from day to day.

She particularly likes caring for older adults because she enjoys listening to their stories.

“I have a lot of life to learn and they have a lot to share,” Dr. Schneider said.

She believes in the importance of the connection between a patient and their primary care physician.

“I can see you at your healthiest and get to know you, but I’m also there for you when something potentially goes wrong with your health,” Dr. Schneider said. “Having that relationship means we’ll get through it together.”

And she strives to get to know her patients on a deeper level, which leads to more collaborative care. 

“I want to know not only about your health concerns but also who you are outside of the clinic,” Dr. Schneider said. “That helps me understand your goals and concerns. And I want you to leave our visits understanding the reasoning behind my recommendations and treatment plans.”

Outside of work, Dr. Schneider enjoys traveling with her family, especially when it involves heading to the beach.
