KETV: Glam Squad Brings Beautiful Smiles to Cancer Survivors

Published: Oct. 28, 2015

Each week, cosmetology students visit Methodist Hospital. Armed with lotions, polishes, nail files and smiles, these members of the Glam Squad hope to bring comfort and care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

"If you can bring joy to one person's life, even for a moment, to forget about what they're going through and the journey ahead of them," said Lori Fuchs, clinical cosmetologist and director of Inner Beauty, a salon for cancer survivors at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.

KETV's Amanda Crawford visited with the Glam Squad about their mission and followed along during a recent trip to Methodist Hospital.
