KETV: Methodist Volunteers Participate in Paint-A-Thon

Thousands of volunteers rolled up their sleeve to brush up the city of Omaha.

Residents primed and painted their way into the hearts of homeowners across the metro who needed that extra hand to tackle projects. Homes across the area got a makeover thanks to a team of more than 2,000 people for this year’s Paint-A-Thon.

Volunteers from Methodist and Omaha Outward Bound gave back to their community. They’re one team of 70 in the annual event, which helps low income, elderly, or disabled homeowners with more than just a fresh coat of paint.

KETV reporter Camila Orti stopped by to check out the hard work being done by the Methodist volunteers.
