Methodist Health System Earns No. 2 Spot on Forbes List of Best Nebraska Employers

Methodist Health System has been named the No. 2 employer in Nebraska, according to Forbes Magazine.

Methodist is among 15 employers in Nebraska on Forbes’ 2022 “America’s Best Employers By State” list. This marks the second time Methodist has made the list – the health system also earned top-10 honors in 2019. Methodist was also listed as a Best Employer for Veterans by Forbes in 2020.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile its fourth annual list of America’s Best Employers By State. The list is divided into 51 rankings – one for each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia – and was compiled by surveying 70,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees.

“Methodist is an organization that prides itself on its people and the way we care for our community,” said Steve Goeser, president and CEO of Methodist Health System. “It’s an honor to know that survey participants recognize the tremendous culture and work environment we have within this organization. More importantly, this recognition is a testament to the dedicated and hard-working employees across the system.”

Surveys were conducted anonymously, allowing participants to freely share their opinions. The final list ranks the 1,382 employers that received the most recommendations.

Survey participants were asked to rate their employers on a variety of criteria as well as how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others.
