Methodist Patient Shares Long-Term Neurological Effects of COVID-19Published: May 3, 2021
Methodist patient Mike Sindelar was surprised when he tested positive for COVID-19 in October. His initial symptoms didn’t seem so severe. Only later would he experience dizziness, brain fog, trouble with balance and a lack of hand-eye coordination. He’d learn the virus had affected his nervous system.
Sindelar opened up to The Fremont Tribune about his long-term neurological issues and the help he received from Methodist infectious disease specialist Dr. Robert Penn.
