Methodist Providers Offer Life-Saving Care to Local Personality

On Christmas Eve morning, nurses rolled KIOS-FM morning anchor and professional singer Michael Lyon into an operating room at Methodist Hospital. The surgeon had promised to take out only what he had to in his quest to take out a life-threatening throat cancer, but as the drugs kicked in and Lyon drifted into sleep, no one knew what that meant.
