Dr. Priscilla LaCroix, a pediatrician at Methodist Physicians Clinic, remembers the horrific flashbacks that plagued her after the birth of her daughter, Isabel.
"On the day of my daughter's birth, she almost didn't have a mom," Dr. LaCroix said. "Once I realized that I had almost died with that delivery when it was a completely unforeseen complication - it's so hard to heal from that."
But thanks to her "strength in vulnerability" and the support of her Methodist Physicians Clinic OB/GYN, Dr. Christine Vo, Dr. LaCroix continues to heal and has become the wife, mom and physician she knows she was truly meant to be.
