Cancer Care

Who Are You Racing For?

And just as loved ones showcased their pink attire in honor of their mothers, sisters, daughters and best friends, a number of survivors offered up words of encouragement to those currently battling breast cancer – those who are walking where they once did.

Methodist Health System, a proud sponsor of the event, was honored to be there and capture those messages. Because despite the services and screenings offered through the Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center and the Methodist Mobile 3D Mammography coach, we know nothing spurs hope like the words of a survivor.

To those who came, walked in the rain, donated to the cause and spread hope with their own stories - thank you.

In the words of Nancy G. Brinker, sister of Susan G. Komen and founder of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, “The very first step toward giving to others is grateful recognition of our own assets.”
