Becky Jizba named vice president of ancillary and professional services for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital

Becky Jizba, MSN, MBA, RN, NE-BC, an accomplished healthcare executive with experience leading multidisciplinary teams, has been named vice president of ancillary and professional services for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital.
Jizba, who previously was a service executive for patient care at the hospitals, began her new role earlier this month. She succeeded Julie Murray, who in April was promoted to executive vice president of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital.
“Over the years, Becky has earned the respect of colleagues and physicians through her commitment to excellence, genuine care for people and relentless focus on improving the experience for our patients and teams,” Murray said. “She has led numerous initiatives that have strengthened operations, enhanced quality outcomes and supported the development of multidisciplinary teams. As vice president, she will bring a spirit of collaboration and authentic leadership in guiding our continued efforts to deliver outstanding care.”
In her new role, Jizba will oversee the oncology service line; imaging, laboratory and pharmacy services; quality, risk and regulatory programs; and professional services contracting.

Jizba’s other leadership experience at Methodist Hospital includes serving as service leader for the Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit and nurse coordinator for the Oncology Unit. She began her career at Methodist Hospital as a staff nurse on the Oncology Unit. She also served as a naval nurse officer for the U.S. Navy Reserve for four years.
Jizba received her Master of Science in nursing and Master of Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Creighton University.
