Dr. Bobby Learch joins Methodist Physicians Clinic - Elkhorn as internal medicine provider
Published: July 31, 2026Bobby Learch, DO, has always had an interest in medicine, but over years practicing primary care, he’s developed a passion for building long-term relationships.
“It’s a very unique place for people to come and share sometimes weighty things that they don’t talk to a whole lot of people about,” said Dr. Learch, an internal medicine provider with Methodist Physicians Clinic - Elkhorn. “I really take it as an honor to be a part of that journey with them.”
The Omaha native believes in the importance of seeing a primary care provider before problems arise.
“It’s very important to stay connected to avoid problems down the road,” he said. “The work that we do in the office on a day-to-day basis is preventing problems that are 10, 20 or 30 years away.”
He enjoys being the “quarterback” of his patients’ health care teams, especially when it may be hard to interpret what specialists or results are saying.
“I’m going to boil it down and give you the nuts and bolts and what you need to know to get through what we’re dealing with,” he said.
When he’s not working, Dr. Learch enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, exploring new places and playing card and board games. He also likes running and trying to keep up with his kids on the soccer field and basketball court.
