Dr. Brett Van Briggle Joins Methodist Physicians Clinic Cardiology Staff
Published: Oct. 19, 2022Brett Van Briggle, MD, worked as a medical technologist after college, but he realized that he wanted to have a larger role with patients and decided to pursue a medical degree.
Dr. Van Briggle completed his residency in internal medicine before completing his fellowship in cardiology. He now serves the community of Fremont as a cardiologist at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
Dr. Van Briggle enjoys all aspects of general cardiology, but he’s particularly interested in cardio obstetrics, which involves caring for the cardiovascular needs of pregnant women.
He believes that The Meaning of Care means “treating the whole person in a way that leads to a meaningful relationship to bring a positive change for patients.”
Dr. Van Briggle wants patients to know that he desires to treat them as if they were a member of his own family.
“I want to work together with you, build trust and address whatever needs you may have, so that we can reach your goal and get to a good outcome,” he said.
Outside of work, Dr. Van Briggle enjoys spending time with his family on their hobby farm. He also enjoys playing music and has performed with the Nebraska Medical Orchestra.
