New Methodist My Care® app brings even more useful tools to your fingertips

We’re excited to announce that Methodist’s convenient patient portal now can be accessed from a new smartphone app: Methodist My Care®.

The new app, which replaces the current app and keeps the Methodist My Care name you know, is designed to provide a better patient experience through a variety of tools.

 

More tools to help manage your care

By logging in with your existing Methodist My Care patient portal account, you’ll be able to:

  • Communicate securely with your health care team
  • View your health information and lab and test results
  • Request prescription refills
  • Schedule appointments with your primary care provider
  • Cancel and reschedule all appointments

The new app also gives you instant access – no portal sign-in required – to useful tools including bill pay, provider lookup, location search with an interactive map, cost estimates for select surgeries and procedures, and information about careers at Methodist.

The Methodist My Care® app is available for free in the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store

If you’re already a Methodist My Care app user, from your smartphone, do the following: 

  • Delete the old Methodist My Care app (blue and white logo). 
  • Go to Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Search for “Methodist My Care” (with the black, white and blue logo that includes a registered trademark). 
  • Download the new app.

If you don't have the previous Methodist My Care app on your smartphone, do the following:

  • Go to Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Search for “Methodist My Care” (with the black, white and blue logo that includes a registered trademark). 
  • Download the new app.

Note that many features on the app are available without a patient portal login. But to access your medical records, schedule an appointment and communicate with your provider, you’ll need to enroll. Learn more here

You can also continue to access Methodist My Care through desktop, tablet or phone web browsers through this login page.
