Dr. Ryan Isherwood Joins Physician Team at New Gretna Clinic

(GRETNA) – A physician, with a long-history of providing patient care in the Omaha and Lincoln area, will complete the medical team at the new Methodist Physician Clinic in Gretna. Dr. Ryan Isherwood, who specializes in family medicine, brings the physician total to four at the new clinic.

Methodist Health System officials and the Gretna Chamber of Commerce held ribbon cutting festivities earlier today and the medical team will begin seeing patients on Monday, July 6.

Joining Dr. Isherwood at the clinic will be Dr. Katrena Lacey, internal medicine/pediatrics; Dr. Aimee Probasco, OB/GYN; and Dr. Amber Cohn, OB/GYN

A graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School, Dr. Isherwood began his medical education at Southeast Community College, majoring in radiologic technology. He obtained his bachelor of science in radiation services from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln was his next stop, completing his pre-med degree. He continued on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for his doctor of medicine. Dr. Isherwood did his family medicine residency at Clarkson, followed by a year of medical acupuncture training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Isherwood is married and the couple has two children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, working out, playing guitar, photography and traveling. He also enjoys doing pencil drawings and gardening.
