Dr. Tyler Brockman joins family medicine team at Methodist Physicians Clinic - HealthWest
Published: June 30, 2026Tyler Brockman, DO, knew he wanted to pursue a career in medicine because of his love for anatomy and the way his father – a dentist – positively impacts people’s lives.
As a family medicine physician at Methodist Physicians Clinic - HealthWest, Dr. Brockman combines his passions for providing whole-person health care and building relationships.
“What I enjoy most about family medicine is being able to take care of the whole patient – mental, physical, emotional health – and getting to sit down and spend time with them and their families to get to know their situation the best I can so that I can provide the best care for them.”
Dr. Brockman joined Methodist because of its commitment to providing the resources that patients and providers need for the best possible outcomes.
“The Meaning of Care is the balance between patient-centered care and genuine compassion,” he said.
He believes that trust is the most important part of the patient-provider relationship.
“When patients see me, they can be confident that I’ll listen, take into account all their symptoms and come up with the best plan I can for them.”
When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Brockman enjoys spending time with his wife and their daughter. He also likes golfing and is a big fan of Arkansas Razorbacks football, basketball and baseball teams.
