Hawthorne Court Welcomes Dr. Christine Carlson Rahn
Published: Sept. 10, 2015(OMAHA) – After traveling to Iowa and North Dakota for her medical training, Dr. Christine Carlson Rahn is now calling Nebraska and Methodist Physicians Clinic Hawthorne Court home.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Carlson Rahn completed her bachelor of science in biology at the University of Iowa. Next stop was Grand Forks, N.D., where she attended and earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
For the past three years she has been in residency at Clarkson Family Medicine.
While working toward her medical degree, Dr. Carlson Rahn served as night manager of the Ronald McDonald House (Iowa City), was a certified nursing assistant at Altru Health System (Grand Forks) and participated in an externship at Don Breen Family Medicine (Fargo).
She also volunteered at the Camp Sioux Diabetes Camp, was a volunteer presenter for Doctors Ought to Care, while also participating in the pre-med day program, faculty advisory council and student council at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Carlson Rahn likes traveling, ice hockey, outdoor sports, exercising, keeping up with current events, music and spending time with family and friends.
