Methodist adds nephrology services, 13 new providers with acquisition of Omaha Nephrology PC

Methodist Health System is excited to announce that it has acquired Omaha Nephrology PC.
In welcoming the private practice, now known at Methodist Physicians Clinic – Nephrology, Methodist adds nephrology to its robust list of specialties. In the process, nine physicians and four advanced practice providers specializing in nephrology have joined the Methodist family and will begin seeing patients Oct. 6.
The nephrology group’s main office will remain at 1111 N. 102nd Court, Suite 200, in Omaha. Additionally, the group will see patients in clinic on the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital campus.

The move strengthens the practice’s reputation as a regional leader in kidney care. Established in 1996, the group coordinates and collaborates with area primary care providers for the management of complex kidney conditions with the goals of reducing hospitalizations, improving dialysis readiness and improving transplant outcomes. The team also provides medical leadership for several outpatient dialysis clinics and units.
