Methodist Community Health Clinic to host free health fair at Kountze Commons on Sept. 21

Community members are invited to attend a free community health fair hosted by Methodist Community Health Clinic and Kountze Commons Community Outreach Center on Monday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kountze Commons (2665 Douglas St. in Omaha).

The event is open to all and will provide access to a variety of free health screenings, preventive care services and educational resources. Attendees can receive blood pressure, A1c and glucose checks, breast exams, skin checks, lung cancer screening information and flu shots. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn the signs and symptoms of stroke and heart attack, receive CPR education and connect with experts on smoking cessation, behavioral health and medication management. 

In addition to health services, guests can enjoy healthy food samples, exercise and fall prevention tips, and access to the Kountze Food Pantry.
