Methodist Health System Named a Top Employer for Veterans by Forbes Magazine

Methodist Health System has been recognized as one of America’s Best Employers for Veterans, according to Forbes Magazine. 

“With their diverse experiences and willingness to selflessly serve others, veterans are a key part of what makes Methodist such a special organization,” said Steve Goeser, president and CEO of Methodist Health System. “This honor recognizes what we already know: Veterans are ideally suited to bring The Meaning of Care to our patients, their families and the communities we serve.”

Methodist was the only Nebraska-based employer on the Forbes list. Forbes also named Methodist one of Nebraska’s 10 best employers earlier this year.

America’s Best Employers for Veterans were chosen based on an independent survey of 5,000 U.S. veterans working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations. Veterans were asked to rate their employers on a variety of general and veteran-specific topics. Out of the thousands of companies eligible for recognition, 150 were chosen.
