Methodist Hospital vascular team honored for 20-plus years of excellence

The vascular team at Methodist Hospital has been honored with the silver milestone award from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission. The award recognizes the hospital for having an accredited vascular testing program for more than 20 years.

“This award should instill a sense of trust in our patients,” said Alex Belsky, RDCS, RVT, technical director for the hospital’s noninvasive vascular lab. “Knowing that Methodist’s vascular testing is put through a rigorous accreditation process can instill a sense of ease in our patient's minds. They’ll know they’re receiving high-quality patient care when they walk through the door and see that plaque on the wall.”

The award is equally meaningful to staff members, Belsky said.

“It represents the hard work that our sonographers put in day in and day out. We’re proud to be performing exams proficiently and efficiently, and we’re proud that this standard of care is being achieved across Methodist Health System.”
