Methodist Physicians Clinic Launches Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics

With experts warning that the flu vaccination is critical this year, Methodist Physicians Clinic is offering drive-thru clinics to make the process of getting the shot easier than ever.

“That’s why we’re doing evening and weekend hours. People can come on the weekends or after work when they have more time,” said Kelma Prathan, MSN, RN, a staff development nurse with Methodist Physicians Clinic. “We took the process that we developed for the COVID testing and applied it to the flu shot clinics.”

"It just makes it a lot more convenient, streamlined and easier for the patients," said Dr. Brian Gartrell, who practices family medicine at Methodist Physicians Clinic Risen Son.
