Methodist Physicians Clinic welcomes Dr. Bradley Pfeifer to its family medicine lineup
Published: Aug. 6, 2024Bradley Pfeifer, MD, became interested in medicine because of his mother, a nurse. He liked how people in the community went to her with their health care-related questions.
Dr. Pfeifer, a family medicine physician with Methodist Physicians Clinic, enjoys his role because of the positive influence he can have on his patients.
“The privilege of being a physician is seeing into people’s lives, getting to help out and being the person they seek for care, advice and treatment for the things that make their life otherwise challenging or create a barrier,” he said.
A former athlete and current runner, Dr. Pfeifer is particularly interested in sports medicine and nutrition. He also enjoys completing skin procedures and joint injections, and helping patients with contraceptive management.
But his favorite part of practicing medicine is patient interaction.
“The best part about being a physician is getting to talk to patients all day long,” he said. “Getting to hear their unique life stories and their backgrounds, what’s made them come to the point they’re at now in their life.”
Outside of work, Dr. Pfeifer enjoys playing the piano and guitar, taking his dog for walks, and exploring new restaurants.
