Neurologist Dr. Parul Jindal now seeing patients at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Indian Hills
Published: Sept. 24, 2025Parul Jindal, MD, was inspired by her parents – both physicians – to pursue a career in medicine. After completing a clinical rotation in neurology, she realized that the specialty – which would allow her to build long-term relationships with patients and make meaningful impacts on them – was right for her.
“Many patients have told me how much they appreciate my care and how it’s helped improve their quality of life,” said Dr. Jindal, a neurologist with Methodist Physicians Clinic. “When you hear those statements, it’s like, ‘OK, I think I made the right career choice. I’m doing the right work.’”
Specializing in movement disorders, Dr. Jindal especially enjoys treating patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremors and dystonia. She’s trained to provide deep brain stimulation and programming as well as botulinum toxins (Botox) injections for various neurological conditions.
She describes herself as very calm, detail-oriented and dedicated to providing the most comprehensive care possible.
“My appointments can be long, but that means patients can expect thorough evaluations and explanations – whatever is needed for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.”
Dr. Jindal grew up in India and is trilingual – fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, oil painting, going on long walks, cooking and dressing up her three boys – “when they let me,” she jested.
