Omaha World-Herald: Doctors Appeal For South Sudan Clinic Dollars
Published: Oct. 12, 2015A doctor from South Sudan who visited Omaha for two months appealed for help to expand a clinic he runs in his country.
Jackson Lodiong Dumo, who returned Friday to the clinic he runs in Kajo Keji, emphasized the need to raise $500,000 to expand the facility, the only one in a region of roughly 500,000 people.
He also encouraged nursing students to volunteer for a March trip to South Sudan, and shadowed Methodist Health System doctors.
