Scott Jensen resumes clinic manager role for Methodist Jennie Edmundson Physical Therapy in Glenwood
Published: Aug. 7, 2024The Methodist Jennie Edmundson Physical Therapy leadership team is proud to welcome physical therapist Scott Jensen, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN, back to its Glenwood location as clinic manager.
Jensen, who previously managed the Glenwood physical therapy clinic from 2005 to 2012, has recently returned to providing patient care and managing daily operations there while continuing his duties as manager of the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Physical Therapy East and Sports Medicine clinic.
The Council Bluffs native has 23 years of physical therapy experience. He’s a board-certified orthopedic specialist, and he’s certified in dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation. His appreciation for the field of physical therapy – which largely stems from a high-school knee injury – has only strengthened in the 20 years he’s worked for Methodist. But what’s become even stronger, he said, are the relationships he’s built and the way he feels about being part of such a longstanding tradition of patient-centered care.
“I respect and value the people I work with and the reputation Methodist has earned,” Jensen said. “I feel a sense of pride when I hear people talking about the excellent care they received at Methodist, or the amazing nurse they had while at Methodist, or the awesome occupational therapist they had at Methodist. I strive to provide the best care I can to each patient I see, but these stories I hear about the care that people receive in the community where I live make me beam with pride.”
