The $90 million project to add more and bigger operating rooms at Methodist Hospital is more than halfway to completion, hospital executives said Tuesday.
Operating room sizes are expected to increase from 420 square feet to 650; 32 prep/recovery rooms will expand to 44 private rooms; and cardiac services will relocate into one convenient area.
"We're still nearly 18 months away from completion, but as progress continues, the excitement is building," said Steve Goeser, Methodist Hospital president/CEO.
