Methodist pathology laboratory specialists work with physicians and other health care practitioners to diagnose and treat health conditions as well as to monitor patients and assist with disease management. Methodist Hospital, Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Methodist Fremont Health Hospital each house clinical laboratories – providing chemistry, hematology, blood bank and microbiology testing – and anatomic pathology laboratories – providing tissue and cytology analysis. Across our spectrum of services, we’re dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of testing protocols and customer service.

The Methodist Pathology Center-Schenken Pavilion is a 42,000-square-foot laboratory center of excellence for pathology, serving individuals, health care providers, clinics and hospitals in a three-state area. The facility on the Methodist Hospital campus was named for renowned Methodist Hospital pathologists John R. "Rudy" Schenken, MD, FCAP, and his son, Jerald R. "Jerry" Schenken, MD, FCAP.
