Virtual Care
See a Provider
Why Methodist?
We know that every patient has unique needs and demands on their time. We also know it’s not always convenient – or necessary – to see a medical provider in person. Methodist’s Virtual Care providers are dedicated to providing you with the comprehensive, compassionate care you need whether you’re at home, at work or on the go.
Virtual Primary Care
Many Methodist doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners are now using video technology to see patients. You may be able to see your provider this way for:
- Routine appointments and exams
- Management of chronic conditions
- Visits for non-emergency conditions
Call your clinic to check availability and learn more.
Virtual Urgent Care
Methodist Virtual Care is a convenient option if your primary care provider is unavailable, your issues don’t warrant a trip to a clinic or you need care outside of normal clinic or urgent care hours. Methodist Virtual Care providers can diagnose many minor illnesses and medical issues, prescribe medications and offer other treatment.
Methodist Virtual Care providers commonly see patients for:
- Bronchitis
- Colds
- Coughs
- Diarrhea
- Flu
- Headaches
- Pink eye
- Respiratory infections
- Sinus infections
- Sore throats
- Sprains and strains
- Urinary tract infections
- Vomiting
If you are experiencing chest pains, shortness of breath, uncontrollable bleeding, spinal injuries, blurred vision or changes in mental status, or you are unsure of the severity of your symptoms, call 911 or your primary care provider.
