Maureen Hiatt named vice president of marketing for Methodist Health System
Published: Jan. 24, 2025Maureen Hiatt has been named vice president of marketing for Methodist Health System.
Hiatt, who assumed her role on Jan. 13, joins Methodist’s leadership team with more than 25 years of experience in health care marketing, including a decade as a director.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Maureen to our Methodist family,” said Josie Abboud, executive vice president of Methodist Health System. “Her years of local health care experience will serve as a tremendous asset for the department and health system. We are confident that her expertise, talent and collaborative leadership style will help drive our initiatives forward.”
Hiatt started her career in health care as a marketing associate with Alegent Health (now CHI Health) in 2000. She was promoted to division director of marketing for CHI Health in 2015 and held the position of central region service line marketing director for CommonSpirit Health just prior to joining Methodist.
“I’m truly honored to join the Methodist organization,” Hiatt said. “I look forward to the opportunity to work with my team and many others in the continued efforts of upholding our brand, engaging our employees and improving the health of our communities.”
In her new role, Hiatt will oversee all marketing, public relations and brand management projects for the health system, including advertising campaigns, messaging strategy, community sponsorships, brand enhancements and market and consumer research.
Hiatt earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in healthcare from the University of Nebraska Omaha. While at CHI Health, she received the Spirit of Mission award for her contributions to the organization’s success by demonstrating excellence in its core values of reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence.
Hiatt and her husband, Brian, have three children.
