Donating is easy! Simply pull up and pop your trunk. Our volunteers will collect your donation. There’s no need to get out of your vehicle.
“As a leader in women’s health, we know a mother’s well‑being is deeply connected to her child’s. For too many families, the stress of wondering how they’ll afford their next diaper change affects both,” said Patty Bauer, vice president of Methodist Women’s Hospital. “With Mother’s Day approaching, this effort takes on even greater meaning. By coming together on May 7, we’re allowing the moms in our communities to focus on what matters most – caring for their babies with confidence and peace of mind.”
Donations of other infant supplies will not be accepted – diapers only. But open boxes/packages of unused diapers are welcome – especially sizes 4, 5 and 6 (our greatest need)!
Supporters can also shop directly from the Nebraska Diaper Bank’s Amazon wish list and have diapers delivered straight to the diaper bank: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1WMQJ5WDZLVG8/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex
“With over 27,000 children in Nebraska and Pottawattamie County, Iowa, at risk of diaper insecurity, this collaboration with Methodist is critical,” said Tegan Reed, executive director for Nebraska Diaper Bank. “A dependable diaper supply does more than keep babies dry; it prevents health complications that can arise when families are forced to stretch their supplies too thin. Every diaper donated is an investment in a healthier start for the babies in our communities.”
Since becoming distribution hubs for Nebraska Diaper Bank in September 2024, Methodist has helped expand access to diaper support across the region, distributing a total of more than 110,000 diapers to families served by the health system. Last year alone, we served more than 1,100 babies.
