Convenient and Accessible Cardiac Care
Chest pain requires an immediate, informed response — and Methodist’s Chest Pain Response program provides just that. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our team quickly assesses symptoms, performs necessary diagnostic testing and initiates treatment to determine the safest and most effective next steps.
In order to be admitted to the Chest Pain Center, you must undergo an assessment in our Emergency Department or be directly admitted by your cardiologist.
Patients are evaluated by clinicians certified in advanced cardiac life support, helping ensure rapid, skilled decision‑making from the moment they arrive. Depending on their needs, evaluations may include:
- Diagnostic imaging
- Lab testing
- Stress testing
Chest Pain Response services are offered at Methodist Hospital and Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital, giving patients in Omaha and Council Bluffs immediate access to experienced cardiac care.
