Angela Erickson, MA, LIMHP
As a counselor with the Methodist Hospital Community Counseling Program, Angela Erickson, MA, LIMHP, most enjoys “being part of the process of change.”
Erickson has experience working with clients of all ages, but she’s especially passionate about helping young people navigate the many transitions they may encounter during adolescence.
“My favorite is when the students I work with are able to identify the positive changes and growth they have made on their own,” she said.
Erickson is trained in trauma-informed care, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), family systems therapy, cognitive and dialectical behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and psychological skills training.
“I offer supportive, encouraging and strength-based treatment options with a holistic, integrative approach to client-centered therapy,” she said.
Erickson is proud to work for Methodist – a health system that she believes goes above and beyond in supporting patients, clients and employees. To her, The Meaning of Care is about meeting people exactly where they’re at.
“I may be the provider, but they are the expert of their experiences.”
