Ellen McElderry, LIMHP, LADC
Program Manager
With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, Ellen McElderry, LIMHP, LADC, has seen firsthand how providing the best behavioral health care can make a positive impact on a person’s life. Now, as the program manager for the Methodist Community Counseling Program, she’s driven to support her team and deliver that exceptional care to our communities.
“I want clients to know that they’ll receive quality care in a confidential setting in the comfort of their own neighborhood and community,” she said. “We’re able to serve people in their school, church, office – or even their home with telehealth.”
What McElderry loves most about behavioral health care is that it works.
“Counseling is effective and can help make life worth living,” she said. “Each day can be a new beginning and should be enjoyed.”
McElderry believes that a critical part of a practitioner’s relationship with a client is trust. The program strives to be a safe place where people can find support.
“Methodist represents a family that is trusted, respected and devoted to the community,” she said. “I’m proud to be connected to a group of highly skilled professionals who honestly care about our services and the people we care for.”
