Roxanne Wayne, LIMHP
Roxanne Wayne, MS, LIMHP, became interested in behavioral and mental health during her freshman year in college after taking a psychology class.
“I was fascinated by what I was learning about human behavior,” she said.
As a program supervisor with the Methodist Hospital Community Counseling Program, Wayne works with all populations of people but specifically enjoys working with adolescents and young adults.
She believes in maintaining private and confidential relationships with her clients and enjoys being in a position to help them improve the quality of their lives and overcome life’s challenges.
“Some of my favorite moments in my career are when I see, read about or talk to some of my former clients making a positive impact in the community,” she said.
Describing herself as an understanding person who is truly concerned about others, Wayne appreciates being part of the Methodist family and The Meaning of Care – “the process of showing kindness and interest in the overall well-being of others.”
