A fascination with people “and what makes them feel and think the way they do” inspired Candice Harrington, LMHP, LADC, to pursue a career in behavioral health.
As a counselor with the Methodist Hospital Community Counseling Program, Harrington particularly enjoys helping teens and adults navigate their challenges with anxiety, depression and addiction. But she’s seen firsthand that counseling can benefit anyone, and for her, that’s especially inspiring.
“I believe therapy can be an amazing opportunity for self-exploration, growth and lifelong change,” she said.
No matter the journey she embarks on with a client, “I’m honored to have the opportunity to provide a safe space for people to improve their lives,” she added.
In her free time, Harrington, enjoys being outdoors, reading and discovering delicious foods.
