Angie Schindler-Berg, MS, LMHP
Angie Schindler-Berg, MS, LMHP, knows that providing a listening ear and genuinely caring for others can make a lasting impact.
As a practitioner with the Methodist Community Counseling Program, she enjoys creating meaningful partnerships with her clients.
“I love walking alongside people as they discover their strengths, build resilience and celebrate even the smallest victories,” she said. “Those moments keep me inspired.”
Schindler-Berg has a particular interest in caring for people who may be living with persistent mental health challenges.
She says that trust is the most important part of the client-provider relationship.
“When trust is present, people feel safe to share their story, and that’s where healing begins,” she said.
Schindler-Berg believes that properly addressing mental health takes teamwork.
“I believe in early intervention, reducing stigma, advocating and collaborating with families and communities to support mental health,” she said.
Outside of work, Schindler-Berg enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and volunteering.
