Cancer and Recovery Experience for Survivorship
Our CARES Clinic is a specialized practice that supports head and neck cancer patients who may have reached or exceeded the five-year posttreatment survivorship mark.
CARE focuses on providing ongoing comprehensive care for cancer survivors who may need the physical, mental and emotional support necessary to overcome the challenges and changes that often accompany a cancer diagnosis or treatment.
This type of survivorship care includes a multidisciplinary approach to help ensure the best possible quality of life beyond treatment.
Your CARES plan will include:
- An annual oncologic surveillance exam
- Treatment-specific care and monitoring
- Discussion regarding available resources and services
- Referrals for treatment-related side effects
- Collaboration with your primary care team
